Brain picking time,
I'm off to my Brother in laws tomorrow and he's getting into mtb'ing but doesnt know any routes around where he lives (Devizes). I took him out last time and we ended up over 'roundway hill' and the surrounding byways which is very nice, however is there anything more singletrack that'll get us out the house for a few hours?
Have a look around Earlstoke. Peartree Hill area has some singletrack threaded through it if you can find it. Otherwise try SPAM who organise the Salisbury Plane challenge. They're based around there.
Its all byways around there not much singletrack at all.Go towards Avebury,ridgeway etc very similar.Nice countryside nothing rad.Used to be around that area alot.
