Anyone else running a set of these mine are the 29 version with 29mm internals.
I have compared them with the same tyres on a roval carbon rim with a 21mm internal. the actual tyre shape and width is minimal to say the least but the stiffness is in another league.. When i had them built I was told that they are not far off Enve stiffness by the wheelbuilder.
Drawbacks are some tyres are a pig to get off if you ever puncture. Schwalbe i really struggled with, maxxis and Bonty seem quite easy
I have the 650b version. I agree with them not changing the external tyre profile much, people often say have you got enough clearance when actually it barely alters it, my OHs hans dampf is thicker than my HR2. Stiffness I agree is another level really, massive steam roller effect with them. Love em!
