Can anyone recommend a decent spin bike for not much cash, say £250-£300? My daughter wants one, which means I will end up inheriting it within a month. Id rather buy her a decent one for me to use than her clog up my shed with her 49.99 folding clothes horse.
Cheers!

The cheapest Wahoo Kickr Core smart trainer of facebook at the moment is £180! That and whatever barely used road bike is the right size locally with the other £120.

If you really do want just a spin/exercise bike I think they'll run in dumb mode with the power supply off and just use the gears. If not subscribe to Wahoo SYSTM as the exercises are the most "spin class" like, i.e. Sufferfest is just someone shouting at you to loud music through an interval session. Then you can run zwift once they're bored with it.

Could go even cheaper, I got a Zwift compatible Bkool trainer for nowt when someone was giving it away, and have an older minoura dumb trainer that I can't even give away.

If you’re anywhere where near Northampton, this is a decent spin bike. I’ve had one set up in the garden for ten years and it’s very durable. Belt driven, square taper Shimano bottom bracket and basic resistance via a dial. Totally adjustable to dial in perfect position and a great way to get a fix when it’s too icy.

Why not hire one? We’ve got a rented (cheap) treadmill for £14 a week for 8 weeks, if we hate it then we aren’t stuck with it.
