As Decathlon had run out of cycling base layers and my Howies merino wool ones were in the wash I tried a decathlon skiing base layer under an autumn jack and what a revelation. Comfortable, warm and great for movement.
I don't work for them. Just a PSA and unexpected find.

The Kipsta (football) base layers are great as well, not quite as warm but do a good job.

I bought a set of the ski basewear from Aldi/Lidl a few weeks ago.

Wore for the 1st time when we had snow on a Friday and then a weekend of freezing fog.

Well pleased for the price.

Worn since, but too hot.

Will save for the very cold weather.

I’ve used the snowboard base layers for years. I’m pretty sure they’re the same thing and yes, they are really good for the money.

Think I got the midpriced ski base layer -£10?

Stupidly warm, fantastic value
