I will keep my eyes peeled north of the river.

you were a braver person than me leaving a bike like that alone in town.

Sorry to hear about your bike. Also worth watching Craigslist London.

+100000000

Sorry to hear about your loss, defo keep an eye on Gumtree and down near Bricklane (if you can get down there).

There's a chap who specialises in locating stolen bikes (ex-CID I think), anyone remember his business name??

Cheers guys
Not from London so can't check
Was just there for the day and bike was stored indoors
Just popped into apple shop for 5 mins to buy something Locked with a cable lock as didn't think I'd need the u lock
And came out and it was gone
Gutted as have had it for 8 years and still a stunning ride
Anyone going down brick lane please check and I'll pay reward

i was the chap who waited for you outside after i saw the thief ride off.
before anyone asks i didn't actually see it being stolen but noticed somebody riding off out the corner of my eye and him lean round the back of the bike and stuff something in his pocket as he rode off (was about 30 meters away by then)which i realised was a thin cable lock, by then he was too far away for me to give chase plus i had a laptop and 2 bottles of gin in my bag.
good luck getting it back.

Ah bugger, cable locks can be cut through like butter mate, as you've just discovered ๐Ÿ™ I've stopped 1 or 2 scrotes from nicking bikes in my area (Islington); they carry a set of fibre optic cable cutters, nice and small to fit in their jackets and they'll go through a bike cable in a trice...

Will keep an eye out for it, any pics you can provide?

My advice is go to brick lane on monday

Sunday is when the market is on, so that would be better.

Will keep an eye out. Pretty distinctive bike, that.

And never, ever, ever leave any bike in London unless it has a proper hefty d-lock secured to something imovable. I too have paid the price for complacency. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Hope you're reunited with it. Not too many DEANs about, even fewer Colonels. I'm guessing at 8 years old it has the cowled drop-outs? What style/colour Logos on it?

i work near cavendish square and that areas is covered by CCTV - any chance you could get some footage to help identify the scum bag!

Regents street is owned and managed by The Crown Estate.
They have on-site facilities management and probably manage street security from there.
You can contact them here:
