Cant go wrong for £5.88 for the pair!
Did exactly the same a couple of hours ago - worth it for the case alone 😀

Not jawbones clubber. Oil rig and Eyepatch by the look of them.

Not got much to loose if they don't suit me. Unlike the Frogskins I got a week or two ago.

Hello, sorry for the thread resurection. I didn't go for Jawbones, I went for Radar's I tihnk? Anyway, there's weird clear plastic "glasses" inside the lens. Looks odd, are they meant to be there or do i remove them?

Thanks

That clear lense is how lots of glasses manufacurers put pescription lenses in. You don't need it.

I don't think anyone's expecting shotgun levels of resistance from £10 glasses...

If you buy bolle safety glasses you do 🙂

Who's up for a bit of testing? I know a man with a shotgun and I have a few pairs of Bolles, anyone got any spare eyes?

Trouble with these knockoff Oakleys, is that they still look like Oakleys. If you really want to look like Bono, then fair enough and I suppose it's good that it's now cheaper.

Cheaper for 2 pairs than the Blocs I would have got to replace the Blocs I broke.

Received my pair of Jawbone lookalikes from DX today. Very impressed. No paint work out of line, very comfortable (for a short period so far). The case is great plus theres the neck strap and cleaning cloth and bag with it. One set of lenses(dark) however doesn't have cut outs which is no big problem. And it has a Torx bolt fastening.

Higgo can't get the numbers now as on my phone. The two that I ordered had customer images that showed the model name on the arm just like real ones do.

Just got back from a 2 hour ride with them and they're far more comfortable than the bolle safety glasses I've been using for the last 3 years. Really quite impressed with them.

I've just ordered the same black and red Oakleys as Clubber - Sku 68824. Seem worth a try.

Now to check out a suitable prescription lense supplier. Anyone got any recommendations?

Why risk buying cheap Oakley's and getting inadequate UV protection and lens clarity, also you are supporting the illegal counterfeit black market, also STW are openly supporting this tut tut.

Although if it was about how best to evade import tax on bike bits or electronics most people wouldn't care either.

Because I think spending over £30 on a sunglasses is mental. So I got 2 pairs for less than that.

When Injection moulded frames and lenses cost 10x as much as a high quality 1/48 Vought Corsair F4U, I feel something isn't as it should be.

inadequate UV protection

Do you wear sunglasses all the time? Or should we only worry about UV while riding through the woods?

Does no one else worry that Deal Extreme is in fact some sort of giant data gathering device devised by the Chinese government to collect all our financial data in order to, at a pre determined time, purge all the bank accounts of people in the western world sending it spiralling into financial turmoil, thus enabling an easy take over?

Only one?

No it wouldn't I've been trolling it for a while (I do actualy think illegal downloadings wrong, but then I'm probably hypocritical in seeing trail poaching as a victimless crime) and seems most people are in favour as they see Murdoch and RIAA as the victim, not the artists/studios.
