Got a cottage booked for 8 of us in Chagford for a long weekend in mid february for the wife's birthday. She's planning to spend the monday with the girls, shopping or something.
Any decent trails nearby which would [s]get me out of another shopping trip[/s] justify me taking my bike along?

IIRC issue 49 of stw online mag pdf has 3 routes of pretty much the best (legal) sensible routes in the area.
put up a thread nearer to the date,someone may be able to show you around. i normally have mondays off but not sure about mid feb...
if you have TL and i can work out how to do it i can fire you over some routes.
