Anyone know where I can rent a "proper" skinny tyred road bike? I'm doing a 100 miler with a bunch of guys with modern carbon bikes and I don't think I'll be able to keep up on my Nail Trail. Even with slicks.
P.S. Location is Amersham, Bucks so London + home counties

we've got an Argon 18 carbon road bike for hire and a TT bike. We've also got a Yeti cross bike!
Could you not demo a road bike for a weekend instead? Then you could get a spangly blinged-up bike instead of a potentially shonky old hire bike.. Might cost more but probably a better idea??

Fishboy - thought about that but I'd feel a bit guilty as I have no intention of buying a road bike.
