so got the kness and elbow pads and after a few rides they now smell and come when whistled etc. "Instructions" on purchase were clean with soap and water, whatever that means, probably lost in translation somewhere (Mrs BB gets technical with questions like hand wash machine wash, wipe etc ) Anybody just chucked them in the washing machine at 40 degrees along with rest of gear and if so did they survive..help

My attitude with all my bike stuff, is if it can't survive a 40c wash, it was cr@p in the first place. That goes for my £100+ Assos bibs too. I never let the wife wash my bike kit because I prefer to use it again in the same decade 🙄
