One of the local cycling clubs seems to have had a visit from a couple of special guests today. Did anyone on here get to ride with them? @mooman?

Mooman isn't a GT fan so wouldn't have been there. He was out on an E-mtb somewhere, all he's doing now is raving on about how great it was 🙄.

Yes - Tim from the club responded to the critiscm that the club does nothing to attract new/young riders, and been living off past glory for the last 40 years!
Since last year he has organised a weekly ride up Cwmcarn scenic drive and turbo sessions in the club house for youngsters.
Tim with no doubt the support of the Old-General (Courtney) arranged for Geraint Thomas, Luke Rowe, and Owain Doull to ride the scenic drive with young kids from the area and local clubs; it looked nice day for them.

ps.
E-mtb is the way to go. The typical mtber does not ride mtb solely for fitness (their average waist size of mtbers being 38" confirming that) ... so its about fun.
