cut gate is all or nothing. wonderful in good conditions, godawful after rain. save it until it's either frozen or dried out. Somewhere on this site is a wet weather dark peak route though I fear it included rushup edge ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Absolutely chucking it down here atm (within a few miles from Langsett). It'll be a disaster zone.

@MrNice Don't suppose you have any more information about the wet weather route do you? I've tried looking in the trail guide but can't see anything.

CutGate & Rain ... great if your Duck oh not forgetting the couple of sets of pads you'll need, and untold wear on your bike, I love the place but not after it's Pi&&ed down.

I rode it for the first time last year in moderately wet conditions when I was visiting mates in the Peak.

It was pretty rank to be honest, my abiding memory is of riding down a stream in a deep eroded ditch that spat us out onto a horribly churned up mess of a hillside.

Hope to try it in a dry summer one day.
