[#5734066]

I have some 120mm travel forks and thinking about building a light cross country full susser, what are my choices
Would like something that descends and climbs good also don't want frame weight above 5.5lbs also 26" frame
Was thinking superlight/pivot Mach 4/blur
What else is out there or what has anyone got second hand?

Yeah I thought about those as well but don't they weigh over 6lbs?

I've got a Yeti AS-R, carbon back end with 100mm travel if you want to make an offer.

I love my Superlight. Try one if you can. There are very good examples on here from time to time and the most you'll have to pay for a recent one will be £600 tops.

haven't SC dropped the 26" superlight now? should be plenty of 2nd hand though

my 29er superlight rolls well with 120mm forks and is super comfy for all day XC stuff

SC have dropped the 26", so it would have to be second hand preferably 2011 onwards

That's true. There was a really nice 2011 white one on here very recently.

I have an original Flux HL which comes in at 5.6 lbs which I may be going to let go. Bombproof, light and very quick.

If you're over 6' then I've a 100mm trance frame I'd let go very cheap as I keep failing to bother trying to sell it very hard. Not super light but rides nice and you can build up light enough (I had carbon bits, X0, light wheels, f100s etc on it)

dw-link Flux is 6lbs, can be made into a 25lb or less bike.

Not sure weight is the only relevant factor, a sc superlight might build up a fraction lighter but doesn't pedal anywhere near as well unless you are going to make it real stiff via the propedal.

Superlight 3.3 26 inch. No need to lock out. Very XC. Love it. 2500g for the frame and Fox CTD (large)

I would try a Scott Spark or Giant Anthem for fast XC

Trance would be my bet if you are on a budget, or a Trek Fuel / Specialized Camber Expert?
