Hi,
I'm hatching a plan to ride into work along the road in the morning and along the South Downs way home in the evening.
I've got a surly cross check and was wondering if anyone could recommend a do it all tyre?
I'm not keen riding home on the road in the evenings due to the kamikaze driving during the rush hour.
Can anyone help?

The man is right - land cruisers. Cross tyres are terrible on the road as they wear quickly and are terrible at cornering. Pump up land cruisers and they're great on the road and solid off road.
