Their support is telling me I can't use the same email address on both sites, which sounds like nonsense to me -

Any of you lot using same email to log into both?

Well you certainly could, but perhaps the website changes mean you can't set up fresh accounts using the same email on both?

And if that is the case, it's likely an unforeseen issue rather than a planned feature.

Yep, I have the same on both. But they were both set up pre-merger.
