ive just grabbed an mrp camber crank, took my FSA one out, put the new one in and it appears to be too short, but my old FSA crank came with a mega ego BB, this new one claims i need a 24mm (Shimano Hollowtech) external BB , so am i to replace mine with a shimano hollowtech type ?

im completely lost here guys, and dont know how to fit my new camber crank, it says that It can be used with any standard 24mm (Shimano Hollowtech) external BB, so is that my problem ?

many thanks in advance.

There are two types of mega exo.
The same as shimano,raceface,hope etc.
And the mega exo quad. There are 2 bearings in each cup and twice as wide as the shimano offering.
Only FSA cranks work with these

That's a mega exo quad. Note the cup size.

If yours look like that then only FSA cranks will fit.

You need a new bottom bracket. A Shimano HT2 (or equivalent). Just like it says in the instructions for your cranks.
