How do!

I need to get the four bearings out of the pivot near the bottom bracket of my cove hustler to swap them for nice new ones.
Do I have to pull these out with a puller or just drive them out from one side?

Cheers

Hi, i just took mine out 15mins ago, just knocked them out from the opposite side.
Its an '05 frame with 2 bearings if it makes a difference,
used a home made press, out of threaded bar and washers, to put them back in again though!

Dont loose the washers between the swing arm and bearings!

yeah just drive them out from the other side, but be careful my mate knocked the middle out of the bearing and left the outer race in the frame. dremel time.

ooh, make sure you put them back in straight too!

You can use a socket to push them through and a square taper bb tool on the other side. Works really well if ur using a vice.

I have an aluminium cylinder machined to the correct diameter to knock the bearings out, its with someone else off here at present, I should be getting in back shortly. I can post it to you and you can send it back to me the price is a couple of power bars!! My email is in profile

Bit of a hijack, has anybody else found getting good quality bearings for the
linkage plates a bit tricky? can get skf/enduros for the main pivot linkages etc
but these 628's are a bit hard to get!
