aah, proof that t_l_r is a) raving mad and b) has more money than is good for a man.

personally, if I was doing it I'd be asking what lock.

what next- what shopping basket to convert the ti456 into a butcher's bike? 😆

And leaving it unused in the garage is better.

how much did you try to get for it (out of interest) those frames are lurvly and can't quite believe no one wanted it...
why is it surplus? did you not get on with it or just got something better?
always liked those frames just can't see the justification (for me) over a steel HT.

blimey im nosey!!

Hard to say, whatever someone will pay. Check ebay for completed listings etc.

I don't want it btw!

Just turn it into a pub bike.

Then take a longer more offroady route to the pub so you don't upset some folks on here.....

Keep it. Might be a laugh to spec it up with uber cheap shit on it.

Your ride to the pub must contain some pretty awesome trails....

Sounds like a great idea. The On-One carbons on my ss are as good as any out there, and Singlespeeding it makes perfect sense, after all, a Spot ss frame will set you back $1600, so why not a ss Hummer. Go for it, and ignore the stupid dumb remarks.

my (v. old) Hummer is a rigid 69er singlespeed.
Frankenbike niche 🙂
will probably fit the rohloff on it for the solo enduros though.

I still fancy putting nukeproof rigid carbons on my hummer, I think it would be a blast! Sometimes feel we are being suckered into the whole suspension thing by market forces, my old cindercone was ace rigid, but the mags convinced me I needed mag21s, supose things move on, question is have I?
PJ.

Only bloke I know who rides a Cove is widely suspected of batting for the other side, and is universally known as the 'Hummer Bummer' ! Unrelated, and not implying anything, but always makes me smirk 🙂
