Have finally bitten the bullet and ordered myself a Bfe frame (wanted one for a very long time). So lets see some pictures of everybody's to give me some inspiration as I'm not sure how to build it up

the beauty of the Bfe is you can build it up however you like within reason. it's one hell of a DH bruiser and can be a capable trail bike with the right components. the above had Fox 36 Talas so I could change the travel depending on what I was riding (excuse the cables, I had not yet shortened them)

Great choice, enjoy.

Sadly not been there in a while and a bit more of this

A few build notes, Sektor 110/150 adjustable forks, Hope Tech brakes, big ring upfront replaced by a Blackspire, Hope hoops. Ineode this bike 90% of the time from 60k xc to "dh" blasts

Bit of a thread resurrection here, sorry. Had my Bfe for a couple of weeks now and really impressed. Coming from a Canyon Spectral I thought I would struggle on rougher trails but it is almost the opposite. Seems like the lower weight and extra responsiveness make up for the lack of rear bouncability.

Anyway heres mine.

Mine in its latest guise. Flat bars, Captain/Slaughter tyres. As close to an XC bike as I get.
