Morning all,
Can anyone tell me what the Ridgeway's like at the minute (just how bad is it??).
A couple of us are planning on riding from just south of Didcot over towards Avebury and Devizes on saturday.
Cheers

LOL i ride there lots, i live about 200m from pretty much where you'll be starting, unless you start at Blewbury that is and that's a smidgen further..

The ridgeway is hellish currently. Although not as bad as when it had snowed... It's thick glooy crap that stops you pedalling from Didcot to Aldworth.

From didcot (a34 mast) over to wantage isn't too bad, wet but rideable mostly....

Personally, i wouldn't....

Weeksy, thanks for the info - pretty much anticipated it being a mudfest. We're kind of committed to riding from Didcot to Bath over the whole weekend, so we may just hit the back lanes and then the canal tow path if it's too manky.
