Cwmcarn was fine when I went on thursday, just a few puddles in places and they were few and far between, so pretty good really.

Last time I was at Afan there were huge detours around W2. It was a real pain.

as posted above I live middy between the two and the rain has been rather biblical today so much so I thought of taking a canoe to the local shops earlier, trails should be rideable but bring dry stuff

Just got back from afan, completly soaked but really nice ride! Only a couple of muddy puddles (craters?), no detours, still plenty of grip and lots of clean puddles to wash all the mud of ๐Ÿ˜›

They are trail centres. They use all weather surfaces. You can ride them in all weathers!

I've not seen Afan or Cwm Carn ever become unridable.
They are extremely well designed trail centres.
The only thing to consider at Afan is trail closures.
