Will a 1x10 36t and a 11-34 cassette be ok for riding round CYB? its on a whyte 905, should i get a smaller front ring? i usually ride a trance x with 2x10 set up and use all the gears.

Also I need some more trail friendly tyres instead of the dh monsters i usually use so want something around a 26x2.2, any recommendations on a tubeless tyre of this size.

Are you a gert big pie eater? If so you may find it difficult. If you are moderately fit and a little bit bloody minded you'll be fine unless you spend all your beans razzing up the climbs too quickly.

Never struggled using 1x10 and 34f/11-34r here. I'm a moderate pie eater as well!

Im one of those people that can eat as many pies as i want and still put no weight on , 5'10 <11 stone and ride a lot.(no hills round here though so most my ridings on the flat) Im tempted to drop 2 teeth on the front but dont want to spend money on something i could do with out.

You'll be absolutely fine. I've done it with a 25t road cassette on a few times.

If you want to drop the 2 teeth on the front on the cheap, I run the 34t on-one stainless jobby, only £15 if memory serves.

Bontrager XR4 TEAM TLR 2.2...saw them somewhere for £30 each.

Will be investing in a pair very shortly myself.

Depends if your a pie eater and how your bike it setup. I can do it on my 32lb Mega when I'm running Mountain Kings....I cannot at all when I'm running a 42a High Roller at the front and a 60a at the back.
