No not Sams my mate Martin. It was the talas base stud. I just overtightened it in a rush. The thing didn't even feel particularly tight to be honest.

Yep its a 2008. Just spoke to Mojo and they don't do the Talas 2 (which she thinks it is) anymore so will have to upgrade to the Talas 3. Lucky him.
Hopefully they will just send me the cartridge rather than fleece me for a whole service too.
The number of people who convert their 36's from TALAS > FLOAT there should be loads of TALAS internals floating around if you put up a wanted ad.
