Can anyone recommend me a coach (prefer London based). I'm looking to get some testing done and then get a programme put together (maybe a winter programme too) and perhaps have some ongoing advice etc for 6 months or so. Anyone using someone at the moment they would recommend?

I've found National Express out of Victoria to be top notch.

Not london based by Andy Wadsworth @ Mylife is very good. I had 2 fitness tests with him and he put together plans for me. I improved loads in the time i used him (he coaches oli beckingsale and a host of other elite cyclists)

Thanks Trickydisco - will take a look

Popstar - some more detail. Ive just recently completed the transportugal based on my own training. Although i gave a decent account of myself I did feel like I had more locked inside and that with some structured training i could have done better. So I'm looking to do some testing and based on that put together a plan that aims at endurance vents (short stage races, 100milers, SDD). At this stage my events are a little up in the air and I want to use this year as a training year with the aim of putting in place a race programme for next year culminating in a SDD attempt perhaps. Anyone more suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Andy would be right up your street. He trains several xtarra and ironman athletes to quite a high level.

I learnt loads throughout the whole process (only reason he's not coaching me now is i've moved in a place on my own and can't afford it anymore)
