My King rear hub no longer makes the loud and lovelly clicky noise as it freewheels, it's now a rather dull whirr, is it knackered or does it need a service or something?

Sounds like it is either loose or needs a clean out and fresh oil, the old oil will thicken and clog the grooves in the drive system.

They tend to get quieter over time, the one on my SS has done around 4000 miles and its almost silent, (it could do with a drop of oil too) 😉
