Yup obviously considered the waterproof case - looking for a waterproof option 🙂

I paid about £40 ish for mine. Phone will standby for 10-12 days.

It does calls and basic texting. Camera etc are rubbish.

Samsung are the only company still doing them that i know of.
I used to use the Siemens version, the me45 was nearly indestructible.

Landrover one looks like an old nokia with a few bolts and land rover badge on it, pretty sure they are expensive.

Yeh the landy one is uber expensive 🙂

My local HomeBargain (might be a local chain of shops) had some zip locked neck pouches in earlier in the summer for £1. Triple zip lock with a fold over section sealed by poppers. Not 100% waterproof, but for me it is enought to sling my old phone in and take on rides.

I have that samsung and the newer one that replaced it too, both good tough phone and text phones with little else. I use one all the time.

Cheers Restless - one bought off pixmania for £27 - Its splah proof but that all I need in my back pocket on the bike 🙂
