Asking for a mate who is looking at knock off 'import' electric folding bikes for his short commute.
It seems like asking for trouble to me what with proprietary motors/controls etc. but I'm sure a lot of the knock off stuff is out of the same factory as more reputable stuff, I just don't know enough about folders or e-bikes to tell.
Any well regarded cheap e-folders I can recommend him?
