Strange question but will it?

If so how much room (enough room for a 35c tyre?)
Just wondering as I can pick up a frame cheap for commuting and I already have 700c disc wheels.

So does anybody on here have a charge and a road bike who might be able to check - long shot I know.

Or if somebody has a charge duster and would be able to measure the distance from the centre of the drop out to the chain stay bridge and seat stay bridge - so I know the distance. It would be a huge help.

Cheers

355mm (conservative by up to 5mm) to the chainstay bridge
350mm (ditto) to the seatstay bridge.

You should feel guilty if you plan to use such a capable frame to just commmute on the road! I commute on mine, but via lots of singletrack. Lovely bike.

The vast majority of 26-inch mtb HTs will except a 700c wheel with a 32c tyre. My commuter (On One Inbred) runs that size with full mudguards too.

35's maybe too big. If you have got the tyres yet then get some 32s as they will fit.
