Heard rumors about some fun stuff around there.
Anyone been and wouldn't mind pointing me the right way.
There used to be a lot of woodwork in Asham Wood (just above the quarry) built by Frome's Chris Smith. But it got destroyed by the game shooting owner a few years back. I walked there over winter and noticed it was cleared a new short DH trail had appeared.
The whole disused quarry has massive potential as a bike venue - a sort of Lee Quarry of the South West.

I read that as Chris Froome DH. I;m disappointed.
You can ride into the quarry via. BW at the east end. Park up in the nearby side road. Poke about in the woods above and slightly west of the first area you get into. You will see remnants of a huge landing ramp. Might take a little while to locate the line I found. Maybe more has been built. Report back please.
