I've got this bike and the chain is really close to the chainstay due to the 28T chain ring. On rough sections the chain is noisy.
Anyone know a chainstay protector for Stumpjumper FSR Comp 2017 that fits this bike and silences the chain slapping ?
I've seen chainstay protectors online to purchase but I've no idea if they will fit or not
Old inner tube and zip ties. Better and quieter than most stuff you can buy, wrap it around in an overlapping spiral and zip tie either end.
Tried that and it definitely worked (chain slap was silent), but it looked really messy once it started to get muddy

Second the mastic tape. Looks neat and last ages....2 years and still looks like new
