[Closed] Chainring orientation help please
Having run 1x10 for ages im going to try 2x10 for some more range on my mtb.
When i went 1x from 3x i stored the chainrings and now when i get them out i cant remember their orientation. Its my intent to use the inner 2 rings, so 22t aand 34t. The smallest ring looks pretty plain with no cutouts or aids to shifting. The middle is slightly sculpted though. Can anyone help me line it up on the chainset for proper shifting?
Its an XT 3x chainset with 4x symetrical bolt holes if that makes any difference.

Is there not a tab or mark on the chainring to identify the bit that goes behind the crank?
The sculpting helps the chain climb from the smaller ring so sculpted side inwards. There should be a little indicator on the ring for correct orientation. Normally either a slight point machined into the inner edge that lines up with the crank or dimple/graphic on the rings surface.
