Using my park chain wear measuring tool i put the curved end into a link and the other end into a space with some force (the .75 side btw)
Does this mean my cassette will accept a new chain still?

Hard to tell, I've had no end of troubles trying to determine if cassettes were worn, and if chains were stretched. Measuring a brand spanking new chain showed it to be 0.25 out to begin with on mine :S

you're supposed to use the guage to measure the bits you've worn off not the bits that are left! 😆

Not sure about your definitions of 'link' and 'space', but if you've used it properly you've got a bit of life left, once it goes in easy, but before the 1.0 side does, change the chain and the cassette will be fine.

space as in "no metal"
Link as in joining pin and roller
