Looking to use a single ring up front. Frame has iscg mounts. Can I just use something like a stinger or do I need something else too to stop chain derailing. Never used a dedicated guide before.

I'd Go for a top guide like an xcx or with a bash like a blackspire trail x

Wouldn't bother with a bottom guide. E13 xcx top mount is all you need, I've found even with a clutch mech and thick/thin ring, the chain occasionally jumps off, and given the little weight an xcx is, I'd rather have the extra security
