If the reason that steel bearing BBs seize after riding in inclement weather is because grease gets washed out of the bearings, does that mean that ceramic bearing BBs (which don't use grease) are therefore more weather resistant, or have I misunderstood?

I thought the difference between ceramic and steel is that ceramic are harder and rounder and therefore last longer and offer lower friction. I assume they still use grease in ceramic bearings.
