I'm after a new 9spd cassette to go on the alloy freehub on the hope proII hub but a bit confused as to what all the sram/shimano codes refer to.
Is there a dummies guide as to what each code means in relation to the shimano hierarchy and where alloy carriers start?

no idea re codes but they start at XT [slx only has the three biggest XT 6 biggest iirc]
and SRAM @ PG990
