I've got a set of Niner carbon forks that I'm wanting painted.
Does anyone know of any decent painters who can do them?

Could I paint them myself or would it just end up flaking off and looking a mess?

I recently painted a pair of carbon forks and if you do it properly it will work a treat. Make sure you remove any stickers as they will show through the paint, give it a light but thorough rubbing down with some fine grain sandpaper, and a good clean with white spirit (removing and glue from stickers). I then did 3-4 light coats using a spraycan from Wilko's. Despite the cheapness of the paint (£5) it adheres very well, lasts well, and has a very good finish. A few friends have also painted carbon forks with good results...
