I bought a used Cannondale SL Frame to build up as single speed. I was checking it over and I noticed this. Not worried about the mark on the top tube, more the line on the rear stay. Just a crack in the paint?

Hard to say. Is it alloy?
Best bet is lay it on its side and spray some oil on the area, if it seeps through its a crack.
The top tube looks mashed though
