I'm looking for a picture of a cannondale lefty fork without the boot on (showing the fact that it runs on needle roller bearings) for a project, I've searched google to no avail can anyone help?
P.s there was a cannondale on a stand at the earls court bike show with no boot on the fork did anyone that went get a pic of that?
Thanks,
Iain
Iain, have you tried looking for technical docs on the cannondale website? I have a lefty and could swear they have exploded diagrams somewhere on there, at least partial ones.
Even without the boot you can't see the rollers, only the bottoms of the inner bearing plates. They just look like thin steel strips (which is all they are). If you get really stuck let me know and I can cut the top tie-wrap on mine and lower the boot, but I'm fairly sure you won't see much.
I have striped mine before, so if you need any info I can probably help.

I have emailed you a magazine which has a service guide for the lefty, not sure if any pics will help.
Thanks for the replies lads, I'll have a look at the cannondale website.
