[#5558719]

We don't always post build days on here but heck here goes.

For those who ride up at The Cop we're doing some work on the Red Course this Sunday 10 - 2pm ish. We've got 40 tonnes of new trail surfacing which we'll be making a start on shifting along with a few rocks for good measure.

We'll also be having a big build session in November (details tbc).

As with all Chase Trails work we'll provide all the tools you need.

Volunteers will be able to park on the access track at the top of the hill.

Cheers

Stu

Maybe it's time the bigger bike websites had a section where trailbuilding days could be publicised?

Good luck from Singletraction.

Well in years gone by most of the trail building press release / announcements for build sessions have been ignored by editors. I stopped sending stuff to STW over 5 years ago for instance :o(

Cheers though :o)

To be fair to STW they've been pretty good to us but we've never asked them for a heads up for trailbuilding days.

Considering how many people have smart phones today, how hard would a trailbuilding app be. Open the app, 'allow location services', nearest trailbuilding to you that weekend with further information after clicking.

I guess it's having someone to own it. Having been involved way back with IMBA that would be a good palce to start but I don't want kick the IMBA-UK debate off again!
