Awww I think its cute.

With all the doom and gloom around at the moment why shouldn't people be excited about riding in the Alps.

Nice to see you are going too. ๐Ÿ˜€

What tyres for the Alps? Do I need to take a headset press?

To be honest, the thought of our trip to France is the only thing that is keeping me going!!

Skiing? You'll need un couche (de neige)

curtis, dual ply minion F and yes to the press. 2 years ago I ended up swapping to my backup headset and spare forks i'd brought along due to fork seals dying on the first day.

I'm in the process of deciding whether to take 2 bikes over, spesh demo 7 to do DH and big drops half the week and trail riding on the marin 140 the other half the week. Also have bought new stiffer fork spring for doing the bigger drops and gaps. I got bored of pure DH last year.

Need to book my ferry too. why you worried about driving thomthumb? its great fun, on the return journey I recommend the route that takes in france, switzerland, france, luxembourg, belgium france, then england.
