[Closed] Can I run a Rockshox Vivid spring on a Fox Van shock

IIRC RS are bigger ID, so won't sit on the spring collars properly and can subsequently rub on the body/piggyback. The spring is also a larger OD, so again chance of hitting the piggyback

Thanks HC - Yep I was wondering if there could be some fouling issues.

Best to get the proper spring rather than the Vivid due to the OD being larger.

What stroke and weight are you after ?

I have a couple of Ti springs for my Vivid. Before I consider changing to a Van (had one on loan whilst Vivid was serviced and I liked it but it may be my Vivid really needed serviced!!) I wanted to know if my springs could re used and now I know the can't I will likely not change.
