What do you do, weigh down the bike or yourself?

Camelbak - you end up eating less dog shit that way.

I ditched my wee rucksack for a water bottle and an Alpkit Fuel Tank (Fuel Cell?) with a few tools in it. I find that much more comfortable, but no room for a jacket (but I'm usually quite near home) or food (but I have extensive natural energy reserves).

Use a bottle mostly as I prefer the weight of my back. On long rides use a camelback lr thingy with the reservoir in the wing bits so it's nice an low

Both but not at the same time. After a recent Swinley ride I've realised I drink far less than I used to when unfit for some reason so probably going to switch to just bottles.

Bag, but no bottle mount options on my frame.

Don't really like bottles though even on frames that can take them.

roadbike - bottles
hardtail - bottle or camelback
full sus - camelback for all dayers - bottles if racing laps

I have q/r bottle mounts on my bikes so can swap them around really easy if my mood changes.

Never used a camelback but it makes sense to put 2.5kg on me rather than the bike.

Only ever bottles for me. I found the weight of the camelbak with water in gave me serious back problems. I still use the bak to carry stuff about when I'm mountain biking.
