Calling Trek and Bontrager dealers, and other fatbike stockists in the UK. Have you seen any sign of the new Bontrager Chupacabra 29+ tyres yet? I know they come fitted to the new Trek Stache but I'm after the tyres only.

Cheers
Paceman

The only one my local LBS Trek dealer can get at present is the Hodgad.

My guess is the bike would be rideable with a similar replacement!

Yes but it doesn't make business sense to only have the tyres available on complete bikes.

Specialized Butcher Control 650B comes on one of the Stumpys and isn't available in the UK (or not imported by Spesh UK). Other tyres are available...

So why spec a particular tyre on your new bike to give the trail riding performance that you desire, and then not have said tyre available to buy when the old one wears out, tears etc??

Chupsies should be available to order from Trek after their Trek World Show(can't remember if it's July or August?).

The Dirt Wizzard coming soon from Ison as well! ๐Ÿ™‚

Can't wait for either of them...all goes well I'll be rolling the Wizz next week. I hope ๐Ÿ˜‰

The most annoying thing is that I've a pair of Chupas for a friend of mine, they came from "the Land behind the Great Water", costed him an arm and a leg and he's still waiting for some new hoops.

Lots of tyres come on new bikes that aren't available as spares, the businesses selling them aren't going bankrupt!
