Anyone know the best way to get from Calais ferry to Calais train station by bike, only ever done the ferry in a car before and always go out to the motorway which on the bike isn't possible.
Been years since I've done this, but iirc it's not far at all on bike - a few mins ride at most. I just looked at the municipal maps that are everywhere.
First roundabout after the exit, turn right, before you get on the motorway slip road.
That will put you in the direction of Centre Ville.
Think you go out the same way, thru what used to be the old customs and passport control huts (which are now cleared in Dover), then peel off to the right to a roundabout. Think there's even a bike path along there (at least from the roundabout).
Thanks for the replys so far - doesn't sound too complicated. Will be there on Thursday morning and if we get the ferry on time should have a couple of hours to make it to the station
