Fantastic day in the Clwyds. Big climbs, big descents, good company and lots of cake from Cafe Florence.

Knowing where that pic was taken 10/10 if you had managed all of the climb up the Mangler on a singlespeed, hell good going down it on a rigid bike if you were going in the other direction.

two long days in the Quantocks - better weather (today at least) and better bikes! Today was just fantastic, one of those early spring days that makes you glad to be alive and able to do such wonderful things in wonderful areas.

we did have a moment of gentlemanly ambling in a "good lord that's steep" kind of way coming up from the ciclain reservoir (over plank turn left up a silly steep slope)

Was being discrete in mentioning that subject as there are a few places like that up there, even some that are a bit on the challenging side to walk down never mind ride down.

been riding there since the 80's it's amazing how many classic routes are now a bit "cheeky"

92 for me, does that mean that I've been riding that long they can be considered to be Roman Roads? Got a length of the Clwyds Llandegla to Prestatyn ride planned in July that should be fun.
