I have to attach some photo images (PDF) taken from the internet into my drawing but when i bring an image in I loose the colour and it looks almost negative. How can I bring in an image and retain the photo clarity. I have the OLE plot quality on photo but to no avail?
One other problem I have is that I cannot seem to get the wipeout command to operate...command bar just says command unknown?
Cheers
Neil
Are you using AutoCAD?
I'm using 2011, and have a function under the 'Insert' menu called 'PDF Underlay' using this brings them in fine. alternativley bring it in as a Jpeg rather than a pdf.
on the wipeout front, if you're trying to use it to hide the backgroung behind some text, you could try using a background mask instead, you'll find that in the properties bar of multiline text.
Autocad 2010....
Just good old copy and paste!!! that worked fine cheers
Im trying to hide the back ground and cover with another bit of drawing but leave the background in place for other viewports. I wondered if Wipeout is not included in the lisp??
Can you not just freeze the layer in the viewport you don't want it in?
its just all the lines etc behind the image that i want to get rid of...if it was a hatched image i would just turn off the layer.
