Having paid £1.50 today for 6 😯

Can anyone tell me where to get some from for a more reasonable price ?

Even Halfords are 99p for 10 last time I got some.

If I don't have any, I just use superglue.

I solder mine and leave a small dome on the end. That way you can pull them out, lube the cable and re-insert them easily.

Do you mean the 4mm ones on gear outer ?
Genuine shimano ones are loads of money but have a seal in them and are worth every penny

Cheap ones don't but should be easy to get cheap

Or if you tend to snap them wheels manafactureing do alloy ones but even more money than shimano sp

The cost of SP4 sealed ferrules is just another incentive to go with full length outer, only £2 instead of £6 on your average top routed rear cable run, and not much more than a quid's extra outer.
Clarkes metal ends, £13.99rrp for a bottle of 100,can be ordered from just about any LBS, who probably won't be too offended at being asked for a discount either 😉
