just about to buy some stuff anyone know if i will get stung for import etc and is there a set fee or a percentage fee

I got charged, not sure what the formula is (lost the breakdown) but end result isn't crippling - was about 17 quid on $108 for me

duty on parts is 4 or 5% I think, plus vat, plus something for the carrier

when I order from Canada I'm offered a pay tax now option type thing at checkout does it offer you the same?

they are good to deal with by the way

they are great, £167 for forks delivered, bill from fedex for £24, still £££'s cheaper than UK

They charge VAT and any import duty that might be due, which I have no quals about paying. But the theiving gets that go by the name FedEx add a £10 fee for the priveledge of paying it in advance on your behalf.

There must be a way of me declaring what I'm importing and paying it up front.

What you getting? Personally cant seem to see anything that's cheaper than CRC

easton stuffs on special,I got some ea70 risers for $28,some good deals on tyres aswell,got some 3c ardents for $28 each

but your right I got most of my build from crc
