I'm going to be staying in the Burnley/Nelson area over the Easter fortnight. I'll probably only be able to ride at odd times and was wondering if there's any good riding locally (without driving to Calderdale, Lakes etc). Or are there any regular rides? - social stuff, not club racing snakes.
Lee Quarry.....
Likely to be going to Lee Quarry.
I've been there twice (a route from Edenfield) but I think more trail's been added since I was last there.
Head towards Worsthorne and pick up the Bridleway towards Widdop and there is a great bit of singletrack to come back down on, it starts about 1/4 of the way back down the b/ way and drops you by Cant Clough resevoir, its marked in orange on an OS map, then have play in Super Marioland on the MX trails!
