Hay guys looking a building a bike up from a frame.

Comes with rp23 kashima shock, how much should I be looking at to build up with a 150 ish fork, xt groupset, and maybe formula brakes.

Also it's a 142x12 through axle rear end

Give yourself a budget range of circa £1500 - £2000 if you're buying new bits.

Although quite honestly, this is part of the fun of building your new bike isn't it? Time spent on Google, various online bike shops here and abroad and even a spreadsheet.

The youth of today eh? Next you'll be wanting us to ride it for you 😉

Yep, I reckon £1500 is about right.

I got two new top of the range fox forks (uncut steerers) from the classifieds on here for nearly half price, so keep your eyes peeled.

Merlin for forks, German websites for a group set, hope wheels on the classifieds, comes in around £1000 + frame all in. I've built up 4 bikes in the last 18 months.

Shall we play 'hangman' and guess the frame? Or are you going to enlighten us? 😉

If you've ordered the frame i'd look on Wiggle now to see if they've got any Hope hoop wheels (flows) left on offer. Bargain wheels there

I'm doing the same but with the LBS and the specials list and some other stuff and reusing what I have. The possible price is a massive range depending on what you spec and whats available.

Have fun
