Does this come recommended, if you don't take the wrong turn mentioned on the article!

I know the Talgarth to Bwlch section, but not the roman road and descent out of Bwlch or the BWs that lead back towards Talgarth.

Looks like good weather for an old fashioned xc ride tomorrow.

Cheers

No replies, was it because I said "xc"?!

OK, just checked. If you are going to do it make sure it is dry to get max enjoyment... and before the bracken grows. In fact this weekend would be perfect. Get conditions right and there are sections of that ride that can be sublime. The bit below Mynnydd Llangorse is some of the fastest flowing singletrack you will find (if the rain & horses haven't turned it to mud). Get it wrong and it will be a slog. The Roman Road over the Allt is a nice ride but has had a lot of sanitisation work done. Beware of walkers. The old greenlanes back to Talgarth are pretty weather dependant and something of nothing. A way to get home without traffic. If wet they will probably be muddy. Late in the year overgrown!
